Every mom knows the math that doesn’t add up: your paycheck minus childcare. We’ve been told that’s just how it’s always been, but there’s so much more to the story. Join @coterie and Moms First Founder & CEO @reshmasaujani to uncover the hidden history of childcare in America: from wartime nurseries that helped millions of moms go to work, to a bipartisan childcare bill that was one signature away from becoming law, and what those near-misses mean for families today. We’re excited to partner with @coterie on this return of The American Motherhood Lectures. They show up for parents every day, and share our belief that moms deserve a system that actually works. Save your seat for the live taping and Q&A: Tuesday, November 17, 3:30 PM ET at NYU Law’s Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Center (@bwlc_nyu). Tickets are free but space is limited. RSVP at the link in bio.
